Few days, I lived without COMPAQ (my lovely notebook). The charger damaged. So, I can’t use COMPAQ at all. Absolutely, there’s some changing in my habit. To completed my ‘e-business’, I must go to Lab or MIC. Open SCeLe, see email, chat, or just visit blogs.
Besides a mount of academic task (Software Project, Numeric Analysis, Cryptography and Information Security, Neural Network), there some task that I have to do. I decide to take part in Mapres (Outstanding Student) and LKTM (Scientific Writing) Competition. So, two papers should be prepared to fulfill the competition requirement. I have to get the resources, study the ‘interesting’ paper and literature, and make draft.
No COMPAQ that usually help me. To finished all the tasks, in Campus I use Lab’s and MIC’s computer. I also use my old PC in home. It’s so lemot (low performance).
The changing from COMPAQ oriented to Lab, MIC, and PC oriented makes me uncomfortable. Maybe like shock culture (halah… ga segitunya kali). By the time, I enjoy stay in Lab. No check-in no delay. I don’t have to eject the jack to the power supply then wait for turning on like I use notebook. Just enter the lab and login. If I finished, just log out and leave the PC. Very efficient for frequently short time use.
Without COMPAQ in my bag, I feel free in my shoulder and my mine. I can leave my bag everywhere. In Lab, library, even in mosque.

However, there’re some problem without COMPAQ. When the lab so crowded that I don’t have seat. When I have to finish our group assignments. When I need laptop in meeting or event. When I need privacy alone at campus or home. Yes, I still need COMPAQ
I decide to buy new charger. The other universal charger. Thursday (March 13th), I buy it at UHUI by IDR145.000. Finally, I want to say : "Welcome Back Guys! Lets be good team with me."
